I'm coming here because of the mass censorship of #Gaza, #Palestine and the genocide they face. I really hope BlueSky isn't as bad as the other lot.

Wrote for @discourseblog.com about the Dem insiders inventing a fake super-woke campaign to get mad at rather than admitting that Harris ran the center-right campaign of their dreams and got crushed www.discourseblog.com/p/what-elect...
What Election Do These People Think We Just Had?
Democrats are inventing wild fantasies about the power of Big Woke rather than confront the failures of their actual approach.

phillippe reinnes and john fetterman and joe scarborough are NOT the people that will help Dems recover. they are all conservatives. if you want to keep having the football pulled out on you, then follow their lead.

This is what concerns me—this narrative emerging that people rejected the pro-worker policies of Biden.

The truth is, Dems didn’t go far enough. They didn’t raise the min wage and blamed the parliamentarian. They let COVID rip and relief expire like the CTC and PUA. They didn’t do paid leave.
Biden's legislation was as favorable to the working class as Congress would allow, and his appointees (NLRB, FTC, etc) were the best ever for them.

If, as Sanders suggests, we should evaluate that by votes and not results, then voters delivered a resounding rejection of pro-working class policies.
A fiery statement from Bernie Sanders says the Democratic Party "has abandoned working class people" and found "that the working class has abandoned them."

I have written about how Biden won in 2020 by forging a truce with Bernie and other progressives. Safe to say, that truce is over.

libs go-to media outlet is right wing MorningJoe which leads into right wing Nicole Wallace. if they switch to CNN it's Israeli state TV. it's billionaires running all media and libs kissing their asses. rinse, repeat. it's only going to get worse as they all race to blame the left for their failure
the one theory of 2024 that I find most convincing by far is that the information environment is utterly fucked for Dems. we need media & communications outside of campaigns prospect.org/politics/202...
Time for Democrats to Abandon the Mainstream Media
The ‘liberal media’ was in the tank for Trump. Democrats should take their subscription dollars elsewhere.

totally normal and reasonable thing that doesn't seem suspicious in the least
Israel has issued a censorship order directing media to “submit to the Censorship all materials dealing with the activities of the Israeli Defense Forces.”

Read the full order here:
Exclusive: Israeli Military Censor Bans Reporting on These 8 Subjects
The highly unusual, English-language order for the Gaza war breaks from the secretive and informal way IDF censorship normally works.

Israel Knew Hamas’s Attack Plan More Than a Year Ago
A blueprint reviewed by The Times laid out the attack in detail. Israeli officials dismissed it as aspirational and ignored specific warnings.
