When are the pedophi1e hunters in the GOP gonna go after the churches?
I mean, surely that's next, right?
Is it possible they haven't heard the statistics?
Because anyone can just google those.
This isn't an anti-religion post.
It's a pro-reality post.
Get to it.

"Of respondents who had transitioned, 9% had gone back to living as their sex assigned at birth at some point in their lives, at least for a short while—but in almost every single case, the reason was anti-trans discrimination from one’s family, friends, or community."

"Um, there's actually a book in THE Bible, it's like, the oldest book in THE Bible, okay? It's called The Book of JOB. Heard of it? That's right you have. It's one of the better known books in THE Bible, okay? And it says, it actually demonstrates, that suffering is good & why you should just STFU."

Oh, hell no.
Starting July 25, Bluesky will require users in the UK to scan their face, upload an ID or verify their identity with a bankcard.

I realize that platforms feel they have no choice but to comply with the government surveillance schemes, but shocking nonetheless.
Bluesky is rolling out age verification in the UK
Bluesky users in the UK can verify their age using their face, ID, or payment card.

If socialists terrify you, you just may be a fascist.
If you'd rather work together with fascists than socialists, you just may be a fascist.

As a former professor of Religious Studies who often taught about US Law and Society, I used to assign an initial one page essay answering (and arguing for your answer) “Is America a Christian Nation? Why?”
That assignment would now be moot.

Politics hasn't been this simple in a long time: do you think it's good for one man to exercise unchecked, arbitrary power or not. Those are the two available ideologies right now

If you follow me and you’re not going to fight against this administration as hard as you can and you don’t want to hear about those who do, now’s a good time to unfollow.
That said, I’m not on here that much. I’m out there.

“Alligator bait” is not a new to the lexicon of American racism. It is important to see how closely connected MAGA is to Jim Crow.

The thing about the Diddy verdict and the budget bill is that you can and should take both of them seriously. Powerful men getting away with violence isn’t a distraction from Trump and his administration. It’s the same thing powered by the same rhetoric and logic of abuse
the interesting thing about the Diddy verdict is that House Republicans are about to vote to take away healthcare from tens of millions of Americas

Watched this brilliant but harrowing and heart breaking documentary. None of the world leaders have done enough to stop this genocide and the UK government would rather go after some rappers than denounce actual war criminals.
