Standing over 2 feet tall, this wild Barrel Cactus is healthy & plump from recent rains, thus producing many flowers. The orange flowers are quite wax-like, visually & in texture. Butterflies also like these flowers. In winter, the fruits will be enjoyed by coyotes & javelinas… Taken a few summers ago.
