As a child I, my brother, and my mother were all reliant on food stamps for several years while my mother went back to school to get her nursing degree.
Even so we still had to go without a lot of the time to get by.

Fantasizing about returning to production on a Moth-Light book. Really proud of the work I've done with the sheets and the rules.
The overwhelming process of laying out a 200+ page book and populating it with art is what's made me balk to this point but I think it'll get done some day.

My regular gaming's groups new Blades in the Dark crew is turning out to be the most reprehensible group of criminals I've ever GMed. Think "The Substance" if that film followed distributors and not the users.
I completely trust them all to pull it off without things getting weird in the bad way.

I have been, and continue to be, really obsessed with Moth-Light, by @mothlands.bsky.social! The setting of giant bugs on a planet far far away is SO intriguing, and I think it was a genius idea to provide four different genres attached to the same setting.

People are rightfully questioning Trump’s anti-science nonsense but anti-science ideas have been infiltrating our culture for decades now.
Even the seemingly “common sense” idea that multiple vaccines can “overwhelm the immune system”, is propaganda. With exception, science doesn’t support that.

Call me crazy but I honestly feel reliance on the xenomorph is part of what’s holding the Alien series back.
This new show illustrates how other creatures could take the spotlight and freshen things up but it can’t go all the way.

Watched the first two episodes of the new Alien show after hearing early reviews putting it on par with Andor and … no. It’s not that.
The creatures are intriguing but there are way too many plates spinning and the emotional elements are, at times, strained.

my mom taught me there's two kinds of businesses: hot dog stands and art galleries
- hot dog stands protect territory and keep competition off their turf
- art galleries benefit from more adjacent art galleries, cluster together to amplify reach/support
youre an art gallery, not a hot dog stand

Play and discuss as if you were friends trying to get to know each other better, rather than as if you were rival squawking merchants trying to sell competing goods in a marketplace. The world is full of friends and potential friends, and it's much lonelier and more frightening when it isn't.

1. Actually credit all the contributors by name in the credits section
2. Make direct comparisons and references to other games in an effort to help readers understand the game's playstyle
