i am also very done with every single conversation about consumer choices being derailed by the what abouts

people have disabilities, people are poor, people are plus sized

the inability for everyone to make an ethical choice doesn’t mean we all get to opt out of them

ok i hate the guy but from a pragmatic point of view: literally how could you look at the last SEVEN YEARS of what has happened in Mpls and want to reward Jacob Frey with a third term
November 5, 2025 at 5:56 PM
I have to say my faith that jacob frey will be ousted is very low, but my faith that zorhan will win is balancing things out a bit

Minneapolis! Today you once again have the opportunity to vanquish Jacob Frey.

Two terms is embarrassing enough. Don’t give him three! Drag people to the polls. Don’t rank Frey.

I know it’s not technically polite, but I love having a conversation with other people who are comfortable with short interjecting interruptions. To me it makes the conversation feel more like something we’re weaving together rather than alternating individual presentations. It feels more alive.

if you aren’t super tuned into COVID news it is unlikely you know just how easily the newest variant spreads.

vaccinate. mask. act like it is 2021. or you are probably going to get it. (ask me how i know!)

The only thing that will stop Trump is a grassroots movement using diverse tactics.

(not just protests! We need boycotts, strikes, slowdowns, guerrilla art, disruptions, gumming the works from the inside, etc) from a cross-section of society.

It’s on us.

my first home was the second one in from the corner across the street and this makes me sad
It's an age old story: Can bike and tree coexist? This tree on Colfax Ave, one street east of the Hennepin reconstruction, heard about the bike lane and said "oh Lord paint an orange stripe on me already, I don't think I can go on."

Being anti-sex or censoring frank and adult conversations about sex is a GREAT way to prevent sexual assault victims from speaking up and will in no way discourage rapists

There was an old tweet that stuck with me: "If you can easily walk to the coffee shop but your barista has a one hour commute, you don't live in a walkable 15 minute city; you live in a theme park"
as someone who lives nextdoor to both supportive housing and public housing, i need people to understand that the best locations for both are going to be the central neighborhoods in a metropolitan area, where there is easy and reliable access to services and jobs.

I genuinely for the life of me cannot understand why people still go to starbucks. it’s like y’all are allergic to good coffee and having any personal ethics
