It comes down to people don't want to take part in small scale individual choices they can make to fight fascism. And I can't make people do that from where I sit or only on a small scale. You could avoid slurs for the disabled that justify the regime's brutality against us, you could wear a mask.

If you've said how many beds are in the psych hospitals, you've said how many you can capture & detain. Now how many can you offer community care for, meet their material needs for food & housing & their human needs for connection? It's not the same thing & that's what really heals.

I wondered if this was a joke, an article in Expressen (a Swedish tabloid) with the title "Every time I get sick, my boyfriend also gets sick". Imagine being an adult and being surprised that infections that are known to transmit from person to person actually transmit from person to person.

PSA: There’s a difference between wearing a mask or respirator & wearing a gaiter or face covering to disguise identity. It’s important to discern & communicate this nuance because if you don’t, you might encourage elected officials to ban masks for everyone, which would be a public health disaster.
