I’m wondering if friends at @churchtimes.bsky.social are annoyed the announcement of the next ABC will be tomorrow (given it is a weekly paper and therefore wouldn’t be able to splash the news tomorrow) or if they already know and have the front page all ready to go for tomorrow’s edition …

Netanyahu has cancelled the GHF ‘food aid project’ in Gaza because of alleged Hamas hijacking of aid. So now, no food at all is being distributed at the height of a humanitarian disaster. Israel is not capable of running a competent aid effort so the alternative must be installed NOW!

As a former lifeguard who has rescued several drowning people, they all had one look - like they were trying to climb a ladder, with silently pleading eyes.

Sat at Rome Ciampino airport. Ordered lunch from McDonald’s for €30 and it didn’t arrive for 45mins (only 5 mins before needing to move through gate). Food arrived stone cold. Disgusting. No refunds, no staff to help, they just walked away.
Hungry now until I get to London some hours away.
