Scientists have just cured pancreatic cancer in some patients with personalized mRNA vaccines. Pancreatic cancer. And this Trump administration wants to throw it all away.

They’re throwing away a cure for cancer.

Can we all PLEASE take a moment to acknowledge that the new forbidden words include female, females, woman, and women which describe about half the population. But of course the words male or men are still allowed.

Am I to understand that this is a direct attempt to defeud women's health research?
🚨BREAKING. From a program officer at the National Science Foundation, a list of keywords that can cause a grant to be pulled. I will be sharing screenshots of these keywords along with a decision tree. Please share widely. This is a crisis for academic freedom & science.

Dr. Raj Pannu was one of the best. 🧡

From the first time I met him, I was struck by his kindness, his warmth, and his quiet leadership.

Rest in Power, Raj.

And Raj Against the Machine, forever ✊

Raj Pannu is known to all who met him as a tireless advocate for a better Alberta. As Leader, his "Raj Against the Machine" campaign didn’t just give us a great slogan—it created a legacy and inspired a movement that lives on.

My thoughts are with his loved ones today.
The Alberta NDP is saddened by the passing of Dr. Raj Pannu. A compassionate and dedicated leader, Raj served as the MLA for Edmonton-Strathcona from 1997 until his retirement in 2008. He led our party in 2000 with his memorable "Raj against the Machine" campaign, leaving a lasting impact.

Tech companies want to make authoritative sounding knowledge replacers, but they could just as easily make models that point out their own epistemological standing and encourage users to think critically about the content they’re generating.
