The artist formerly and also still known as monanotlisa. If you remember Better Buffy Fics, or Livejournal, you're in the right place.
I agree, and view all these careless people's feelings as what they are: a profoundly selfish attachment to nostalgia that is hollow with rot. Let it go; the rot is poisoning people in the here and now.
And I cannot fathom how you can consider yourself a not bad (much less good) person when trans people have been saying for years "This author's work materially hurts me and funds hate movements designed to drive me out of public life" and you still go "B-b-but my childhood!"

This is probably calling out into the void, since my network here is so SMOL, in tumblr terms, but here we go:

Any advice for obtaining high-quality posters or other printed material featuring pencil or charcoal portrait drawings that are at least page-sized, up to two pages? Basically A0 to A1.

No, but seriously.

We need some kind of barrier between all these named Give Us Your Money days, because right now I’ve got Giving Tuesday, Cyber Monday, and Black Friday emails arriving at the same time, and you know what? It’s too much. Deletion isn’t a healthy hobby for a person my age.

Here's a gift article of a very interesting look at the problems with the mirror-test which has been held as the gatekeeper for which creatures possess theory of mind. Besides working with Elsie, it makes me think about SF creatures & if they would pass the test.

California hike after what was a lot yet not too much food; I stopped myself and the wife (who had been feeling quite ill when we got home last year).

Time once again to rep my favorite place for giving: anelder.org - they supply food, firewood and supplies for traditional crafting to Navajo Elders. If you have the cash, please give these folks a hand.

Fingertips are optional, right?

While I wait for my two apple crisps to be done, can I just say that Tasha Suri's THE LOTUS EMPIRE is wildly compelling, just like the two previous volumes of the Burning Kingdoms trilogy. It has everything I want in epic fantasy and is such a rich read. <3

My wife is currently making large amounts of cranberry sauce in the kitchen next to me, & while we will take a lot of it to the family + friends Thanksgiving tomorrow, there's always far more that she eats on bread, cheese, etc. for days.

She just turned to me and said, "Cranberry sauce is my jam!"

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
All DOGE accomplished was purging critical government staff, handing private data to outsiders, and sentencing thousands in developing countries to death by gutting USAID.

I don’t say this lightly: if there were any justice in this world, the people responsible for this devastation would be in jail
DOGE 'doesn't exist' with eight months left on its charter
U.S. President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency has disbanded with eight months left to its mandate.

Personally against dnd rogues using heavy armor

It would break all immersion.

Rogues can only stealth in medium or light armor, because it’s made of Hide.

Friends, this is a low hanging boycott action.

Similar to Hulu and Disney+ actions.

You can help turn the tide and it will make other platforms think twice.

This is a great piece. I have had five endometriosis surgeries and a c-section. Pelvic floor PT is a godsend.
I wrote this piece because I only learned about pelvic floors a few years ago, despite having had one all my life. And then it turned out to be where I store all my issues. And then that turned out to be true for a lot of people www.wired.com/story/the-pe...
The Pelvic Floor Is a Problem
Everyone’s suddenly obsessed with the pelvic floor—physical therapists, MAHA influencers, me. Could this deeply misunderstood body part really be the seat of so much modern dysfunction?

Yes! I watched Teen Wolf for a while but stopped because the treatment of female characters within the storyline was too disappointing. Arden Cho was much better than that role.
