darn. working from home is so nice. turns out i don’t have anger issues was frustrated due to unable to focus and think while people having standups / have loud virtual meetings / take passionate personal phone calls around me none stop

When Lina Martinez, director of POLIS, the Center for Wellbeing Studies at Universidad Icesi in Colombia, studied the happiness of households in the city of Cali, she couldn’t find much difference between poorer and richer areas. “Their happiness is pretty much the same,” she said. But that changed when she isolated neighborhood conditions, such as access to transit, health care and parks. “The conditions of the neighborhood affect happiness,” she said. “I can’t link that to the space where [people] live.”

I haven’t had breakfast yet because I couldn’t think of anything to eat and now it’s after lunch time. Still can’t think of anything yummy enough for me to make. It all just sounds like too much work today. 😛

Every time I pass a magazine rack and see these I do a double take and get excited for a minute because I think they finally made a magazine about Quitting
til carol is easily likable. I dislike her in the first episodes though i understood why she was acting like that. not too sure, maybe something to do with im stressed out by expressed anger + find it intrusive when one individual assumes others would automatically agree with their goal
Carol from Pluribus seems quite likable to me, and I'm always surprised when other people think she's awful
