If a man can live here for decades, be a community leader, work as a special education teacher, earn a PhD and become a celebrated superintendent and STILL the be accused of not “doing it the right way” then we can all agree the “right way” doesn’t exist in this country for immigrants of color.
Superintendent Ian Roberts of Des Moines Public Schools was detained Friday by federal agents. The reason for his detention was not clear, according to the school district.

Roberts’ whereabouts are also, alarmingly, unclear. trib.al/Mq6SBmF

yes we must ask how we can win the votes of guys who like fascism, let’s devote a lot of time and energy to figuring out how to make them happy, surely then we will be safe from fascism
On the radio, and on this video, we talk with Dave Portnoy about his tilt to the right, and what if anything Democrats could do to win the votes of men like him.

"Two patients’ treatments using the experimental therapy had to be delayed because NIH’s capacity to make personalized cell therapies has been slowed by the firing of highly skilled staff and by purchasing slowdowns. Those occurred even before major layoffs took place Tuesday."

Growing up, I was taught that Europeans in the 1930s let it all happen. Hitler and the Nazis just casually took everything over. Ignorant weaklings, I was taught. Is history repeating? Are we ignorant weaklings?
