Huh weird how those Southern dad jokes about greeting your daughter’s prom dates with a gun seem to evaporate in a situation like this.
All the adults failed her including her dad

"Honestly, I have no ill will towards that young man or his family. Kids are kids, & they do dumb things just like adults do. So, especially at that age, they don’t comprehend the severity of what they do" said the girl's dad

This is good reporting and all that but here's the thing I learned the other day: Bill Pulte, the 50-year-mortgage dude and the guy who keeps pulling the mortgage docs of Trump's enemies is only 37 years old.

Buried in here: UMC pastors in Chicago told me they were going to keep doing this for a wide spectrum of Methodists who have legal battles amid the ongoing mass deportation effort in the city — immigrant families, pastors who have been arrested, etc.

Some serious denominational solidarity here.
NEW: So, the courtroom at the "Broadview 6" arraignment in Chicago yesterday featured lotsa Methodist pastors.

Why? They were supporters of defendant/fellow Methodist Brian Straw.

"If you come for one United Methodist, you have come for all of us,” one pastor said. religionnews.com/2025/11/13/m...

How many of them are NJ-plate Tesla bros? The limit does not exist.

Bird being on this list is also kind of wild because he turned 30 after winning all his titles and MVPs and then started getting his career-ending injuries at 32
Unreal stat from Steph. Tonight is his 43rd game of 40+ points since the turned 30. Only Mike has more — and Steph could get 10 more easy before it's said and done. Kobe only got 30, for reference.

the homes are simultaneously “luxury” yet “shitholes”
