Everyone who was alive likely remembers where they were this horrible day when they got the news.

I’m a real policy wonk, and Johnson outdid Kennedy by a lot on domestic issues. But I also get the symbolic nature of presidencies.

In the realm of inspiration, Kennedy had no peer. Obama was close.
