What's more annoying than "Millennial pause" is the Gen Z trend of stopping and starting their video in between *every single sentence*. Every time the video is clipped, I can hear their finger hitting the phone screen and then the volume is too low for the first ~5 words of every sentence

There's a lot to unpack from Adam Tooze's take on how Musk's upbringing in Apartheid South Africa is influencing his politics today. I think my main "quibble" is with his definition of "out-and-out racism"? Racism is racism. There aren't degrees of it.
