@michigan11.bsky.social I'd rather buy the upcoming criterion edition though that won't benefit you at all and I haven't ever actually seen the movie myself 😂
Joan Chen guesses which film of hers features in the most Letterboxd members’ four favorites 💓

Saving Face celebrates its 20th theatrical anniversary this month and comes to the Criterion Collection in August.

I just learned that one of my favorite books I read last year, This is How You Lose the Time War, has a deluxe hardcover edition coming out in November and it's beautiful!

I hit pre-order so fast!

Main character energy is OUT, this summer we’re bringing NPC energy. We’re posted up at the bar dropping lore and suggesting side quests. We’re leaning casually near a locked door and saying “I don’t think you have the key for that” when someone tries the handle. We’re staring at a tree.

As a lesbian (and therefore automatically a subaru expert) whose favorite part of her 2021 outback is the huge rear end enabled by the iconic wagon design, I do not care for this redesign one bit.
The 2026 Subaru Outback is ... a crossover.

• No more Legacy-based wagon
• 2 inches taller
• Modified WRX steering system

Love it or hate it?

@michigan11.bsky.social consider this a reminder to watch The Fall Guy if you haven't already. Pretty sure it was made to promote establishing this award category.
Fantastic news, and the people who think we should have fewer Oscar categories to boost ratings can go kick rocks

financial advice in a weird time:

-- develop a plan
-- find friends who support you
-- preferably 10 of them
-- steal $160 million from the Bellagio, the Mirage, and the MGM Grand
-- yes those are Terry Benedict's casinos
-- get your wife back
-- one of the friends should be Don Cheadle btw

i am going to put a finer point on this: executive orders are not laws. and they certainly are not royal decrees. they are interpretations of existing law for the purposes of enforcement. the fact that so many people are treating them as laws is actually driving me a bit insane.
i mean, the president's executive order isn't a goddamn law! as far as this doctor is concerned, who cares what the president says!
A New York City doctor said he will continue providing gender-affirming treatments to his patients younger than 19 despite President Donald Trump’s executive order aiming to ban such care.
