On DOGE’s watch, federal spending did not go down at all. It went up. But is still led to cuts that closed offices, canceled programs and deprived people of food, medicine and other aid.

60 minutes CECOT segment. Recorded through my browser. HD quality. Not phone. Spread it around. If you're press, it's yours. Go nuts.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

Dude did a minute long riff on his wife's underwear, but when your job as a member of the mainstream media is sane washing the incoherent ramblings of a guy who keeps the lights on in your building, the public must be told he's just doing normal President stuff🙃

Kind of nuts (but also unsurprising) how local gov. agencies and DeWine/state of Ohio socials are just allowing folks to be deeply anti-semitic in the comments of their Chanukah posts
(groyper shit, 9/11 conspiracies, nasty caricatures, etc.)

I love working at the Department of Justice and participating in a conspiracy to cover up the demented 80 year old president's sex crimes. I spend 18 hours a day redacting documents and there's a putrid husk where my soul used to be

Carr's Senate testimony made clear what critics have been saying for months: the FCC is now a tool of the Trump administration. www.readtpa.com/p/the-fcc-ju...
The FCC Just Admitted It's Not Independent Anymore
During today's Senate hearing, Brendan Carr denied the FCC is independent. Minutes later, someone edited the agency's website to remove the word.

This is the compromise? This is the bipartisanship? This is the civility? This is the return to normalcy? This is the price of winning? WHAT WILL YOU HAVE WON
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Facebook is always showing me posts from sourdough groups that are like, “we found this 69-year-old dried starter in my late aunt’s closet. Can I scrape the mold and rehydrate it for pancakes??”

The organization I used to work for deleted their entire News section of their website and it’s hard to not feel like they’re being straight up vindictive toward me 😅 Like, in what way would that benefit your org?

Not only will I assert Wonderful Christmastime is an enjoyable song, but I’ll argue that Hanson’s cover of Little Saint Nick is a bop as well.

I’m sorry if you’ve been traumatized by working retail during the holidays and wish you peace and healing.

Welp. RFK jr got what he wanted thanks to this careless journalism: headlines written by nation's top media outlets promoting an unproven link between covid vaccines & childhood fatalities. All the next-day rewrites & fact checks won't get nearly as much play as the initial anti-vaxx propaganda.
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

We don’t need to reform ICE.
We don’t need alternatives to ICE.
We don’t need to engage in dishonest debates wondering what the U.S. would do without ICE.

ICE isn’t even 23 years old. Most adults know a world without ICE. And the billions used to fund ICE can be used to meet people’s basic needs.

Deleted TikTok for a month, and I feel like I successfully kicked my endless scrolling habit. I’ve returned, but my brain had a nice little bubble bath 🧠🛁
