Life is a series of disappointments.

This is the right move. For so many reasons:

A tiny tax on people who will barely notice - £24bn a year to help fund Ukraine and keep up foreign aid - and so much more that’s crying out to be done right here in Britain.

All without putting any more on the shoulders of working people

This is potentially quite scandalous. Tory-run Cornwall Council, which is trying rush through the sell-off of Newquay Airport, has tried to present the airport as consistently loss-making.
