When citizens are driven to challenge the law to save lives. the greater scandal is not their disobedience - it is the moral blindness that made it necessary.

In just 5 hours, our Crowdfunder has already hit our £100,000 target

But we're not done. We're doubling our target.

Let's take the fight to Reform this May.

Who’s funding Reform – and why?

Reform has received almost £5m from wealthy donors since 2023, including those with links to fossil fuels, the financial services industry and tax havens, openDemocracy can reveal.

Remember when Labour MPs had the whip removed for voting to get rid of the 2-child cap? We were told it was because it was an SNP motion. We were told to wait (yet again) because Starmer set up the Child Poverty Taskforce led by Kendall and they will find a better way to alleviate child poverty⬇️
DWP will NOT scrap the two-child benefit cap - and Kendall goes behind a PAYWALL to reveal it

So Kendall goes behind a paywall to talk about a policy affecting people who couldn't afford to remove that paywall.

She is a coward and a menace.

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

Doesn't change my view that Streeting is a dishonest, shapeshifting toe rag who is tacking left in a cynical attempt to succeed the hapless Starmer, but I don't think, fairly read, he is saying he is searching for evidence to justify his policy choices.
Even Hilary Cass - who disgracefully called parents terrified that their trans kids would take their own lives if they were denied healthcare "shroud wavers" - didn't go so far as to call for a ban on puberty blockers.

Nothing Wes Streeting says turns out to be true.

still enjoying @thatelizabeth.bsky.social's characterisation of the gc movement as 'men's rights activism in drag'.
At least it's honest, right? Intrusive questioning of women who don't conform to norms about how they should look, and women then being banned if they tell their inquisitor to mind his own sodding business, has always been the logical end point for the patriarchal project that is TERFdom.
