1/ You wouldn’t know it from the coverage, but two recent employment tribunal rulings have vindicated those of us who have said from the start that the Supreme Court judgment did not require the automatic exclusion of trans people from single-sex toilets and changing rooms. 🧵

A week by train, visiting old friends of Arles and Heidelberg, and learning loads in Avignon. In Heidelberg, I reflected a lot on my semester as an Erasmus student: what a privilege that turned out to be, and how many opportunities have been taken away from young Brits cos of a selfish Brexit vote?

Trains! 19.38 hrs departure from Zagreb yesterday; then Munich to Stuttgart this morning then Stuttgart to Paris. Currently under the water on Eurostar, then last Hull Train home. Zagreb to Hull in 28 hours!

Learning about the history and culture of Slovenia and Croatia. Definitely recommend Ljubljana and Zagreb for great food, museums, 80s music and exploring. The past, and the present, in both countries is complicated and there are good museums and walking tours to try to help understand these.
