I've been using depression era/ ration era cookbooks and recipes and you should too. Canned meat and fish are great. Soup is great to use up whatever you have and still make a good meal. Freeze everything you don't use. Used half a can of meat/fish/veggies? Freeze the rest. Freeze your leftovers.
