BA and MA Classical Studies although been swinging the lead a bit since. Trying my hand at blogging classicalstudiesman.com but a bit eclectic. Love drama - theatre, tragedy and comedy with a soft spot for reception, sensory studies and women's history
Don’t you just love it when you think the tea towel is covering the edge of the pan when you’re taking it out of the oven 🙄🙄

Latest blog post. I am very nervous about this one as I feel it's a bit 'out there' but it is how my mind works sometimes. But then I very much enjoyed thinking about it and writing it and you never know it might not be as barking at I think.. but there again.

Rethinking Euripides’ Bacchae – is history repeating itself?
I love everything about Greek drama, what it tells us about concerns, questions and tensions in ancient times and how, through reception, it can be relevant throughout the ages to modern times. I a…

A long time coming but for the first time we’re having a concerted effort to grow patio clematis and sweet peas in pots, and they’re just beautiful. Why did we wait so long? #tinyjoys

Next door have got a couple of bee hives so we thought we’d grow some wild flowers for them. There seems to be quite a lot if the same except in the middle there’s this one red flower, no idea what it is but I think the colour is beautiful. Does anyone know? #tinyjoys #flowers
