When I say that I have the best students, I really mean it...! So proud of all the OU MA Classics students getting their results this week. 🎉

I want to do a boast.

I finished my MA in Classics and I just found out this week that I got a distinction. I am very very proud of myself.

My dissertation was on women in Ancient Rome who wore the toga. Ask me anything. Really anything (about my subject, or I'll try more broadly in Classics).

As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.
