Watched the first episode of "I Love LA"....I've never experienced a harder "Im too old to get this" than that half-hour. Its not bad, I'm just not the audience.
I do think "Just Google boobs!" will enter my lexicon though.

I'm a big Creature fan but had never actually seen the third movie "The Creature Walks Among Us" until tonight...a bit too retread-y of the first one in the first act but man, I LOVE the last 15 minutes.

The wildest thing about the Blood Money Comedy Festival is apparently it wasn't that much money. Like the rich comedians doing it aren't that much richer...and the work-a-day comics doing it have said it wasn't life-changing money.

My parents...who are in their 70s, barely mobile and only one could drive...when I suggested I could get them involved with our local senior center if they moved in with us...said "we're not THAT old."
Plus many people don't think of themselves as "the very old" or "the vulnerable" who *absolutely are*.

The problem with “AC is a sin” takes like this one in the Guardian is they DO encourage people to view air conditioning as a luxury and heat as not that big a deal, which DOES reduce cooling access.
