"You idiots don't understand H-1B visas," explained the rich tech exec. "It's easier to exploit foreign workers, telling them to put in 100 hours a week or they'll get deported."

"Americans think they deserve things like 'rights' and 'weekends,'" he went on. "And that's, like, really unfair to me."

As an English teacher with sixteen years in the classroom, THIS all day long. Comics are the most effective gateway drug for reading that there is. More comics in school libraries has to be the goal of anyone serious about literacy. If you are a UK school library we can help with that. Please let us
Another secret to getting kids to read is to get them to read comics.

Extremely digestible & accessible, quick reads, engaging for visual learners, and creates a buffer where kids are more open to reading abt diverse experiences that might have bored or disinterested them in another medium

If you’re looking to understand your customers this book is a great read. Highly recommended!
Oh that's right, it's Black Friday!

Buy my book for cheap, or don't.

Kindle is $€£ 5 bc it's nearing 5,000 copies sold!

I'd set the paperback at that price, too, but I'd make negative money so Amazon won't let me. So it's $€£ 9.99

Toying with Windsurf IDE, trying to pair with it.
Equally impressed and frustrated, like pairing with an over keen dev who wants to change everything at once.

Keeping it under control by asking it to explain the changes it wants to make before letting it implement them.

Books designed to be read only by human eyes are different from books designed to be read by machines, which is why Google will tell you that the phrase “shake my booty” can be found in an 1863 English translation of Don Quixote.

Re-reading Recursion by Blake Crouch, ironically I don’t remember much of it from the first time around.

Still wild to me how the conservative vision of masculinity isn't just toxic, it's *only* the toxic parts. Zero sense of duty, responsibility, stoicism, manning up, taking things on the chin, protecting the weak, etc, etc.

Just endless whining, entitlement, and abuse of others.
