When it comes to OpenClaw and autonomous AI agents, the example everyone uses is “it can book a table for you at a restaurant.”

Is this really a breakthrough?

How often are people booking a reservation? 1-2 a month? You’re telling me you can’t pick up the phone a few times a month?

Distribution is harder than ever now – way more competition for people’s attention.

"Today's builders understand that the value we bring has moved to the bookends: the up-front thinking and the final push across the finish line. The messy middle — the grunt work of implementation — is where AI thrives (if we let it)." – @briancasel.com

Here's my "Marketing in the AI era" chat with @larslofgren.bsky.social:

"Founder-led marketing was always a cheat code. Now it's becoming a requirement."

The people who win right now are the ones who can rise above the AI-generated average.

😔 sad to hear about Catherine O’Hara’s passing.

One of Canada’s shining stars, and a delightfully funny person.

This!!! 🎯
If it's a bad idea, a month is probably enough time to figure that out.

If you're getting some signal, you need more devotion to seek what works. WP Engine took 4 months of interviews.

And don’t let bad ideas linger, sopping up more and more of your energy.

So nice to hear Ben and @adamwathan.com back on the mics.

Really good episode:

"Every dev tool company is built assuming humans will sign up. That's not true anymore. Build agent-first—no captchas, open APIs, no humans allowed."

The new version of Agent OS looks for unique patterns in your legacy code, and then interviews you to learn why you made those decisions. Then it documents those standards for Claude Code to follow.

Well done @briancasel.com!

All of the hosting platforms (including YouTube!) are having to fight the AI slop problem. Also a problem for podcast hosting platforms: thousands of slop shows being programmatically created.

I've wanted this feature since we started @transistor.fm:

Podcast Show Notes Templates!

Automatically insert pre-formatted text (like social links, section headers, etc) into every new episode you create.

(Saves a ton of time when writing out your episode description)
