We're proud to support @statusgator.bsky.social's Women in Tech scholarship!
StatusGator launched a $1.5K women-in-tech scholarship via Bold.org. With help from Geocodio & Alex Synelnykov, it grew to $3.1K. From 200+ apps, we chose Lara Djukic, a 1st-gen American & CS student at Columbia. Details: statusgator.com/blog/statusg...

not embarrassed to admit that basically the only time I actually stand at my sitting/standing desk is to dance while blasting through those last few things on Friday afternoons

Started this on Saturday and I can’t recommend it enough if you have any interest in Ireland. I get why it was the NYT’s best book of the year several years ago

Picked this up in London last week and it’s fantastic. I loved his “Adventure History of France” and this is just as good (maybe better). Graham Robb somehow combines high scholarship with casual, fast-moving writing.

Word to the wise: definitely get it in print for ease of referencing the maps

@stuartmaconie.bsky.social Just wanted to say thanks for Pies & Prejudice and The Full English. I read both on a friend’s rec ahead of a mini-roadtrip of England, and they gave me great perspective as well as tips. Got oakcakes at Six Towns and went to the Black Country museum because of your book!
