I kept up personal counseling well after the “inciting event” and now use it as an accountability and alignment check in.

If the purpose of society isn’t in large part to ensure there is a future society—I think we’ve lost the plot.

I don’t like surrounding a first time manager with first time coaches.

It’s a little concerning that experience seems to be disqualifying for candidates.

Many businesses have opened since I first landed in Seattle but the Twice Sold Tales used bookstore has outlasted them all.

Every time I come to Seattle.
I’m reminded how much I really like Seattle.

Hmm…
So he won’t park his staff with obviously inexperienced successors.

That sounds better…

For offseason priorities I think the Orioles should sign a couple players like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto

I think art requires an artist.

Without an artist there is no culture.

Without culture it is not art.

I drink a macchiato every day and finally found a barista friendly reusable cup.

I mostly do it to ease my guilt about disposable cups and assumed I’d need a thousand uses to offset the carbon footprint. Turns out, it’s closer to ~50 uses.

Sharing for fellow macchiato lovers.

VINTAGE LUNCHBOX MEGATHREAD!
There is something deeply, nostalgic about the artwork on old lunchboxes. They meet at the crossroads of childhood, food, pop culture, & school/friends. Every day, for as long as I feel like, I'll be adding a new lunchbox to this thread!
