I have announced my intention to run for reelection to the Kane County Board in 2026. Candidates will begin circulating nominating petitions in about six weeks. If you are a registered voter in District 13, I hope I can count on your support.

No Kings demonstration in Geneva IL was great several thousand people and thousands more sounding horns as they passed in cars and trucks. Peaceful, almost no pushback, just a very few middle fingers and 2 pickups with giant Trump flags. It might even have been the same truck twice.

I see that Trump has issued an order banning Harvard from enrolling foreign students. Unsure of what authority he has over such an issue but nobody is stopping him from a lot of bad actions that seem illegal.

So driving a bunch of tanks and armored vehicles thru Washington DC will undoubtedly cause some uncommon damage to the streets of Washington. Is Trump’s campaign fund going to pay for the repairs? It is clear that Musk won’t pay for it. He doesn’t even pay for his lunch.

Due to staffing shortages, the National Weather Service in Jackson no longer has overnight staff. But NWS and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear say the office was staffed Friday night and early Saturday.
