I have many patients who are health care professionals in this situation. It’s nurses, doctors, physios, pharmacists - it’s across the board.
They want to work, but need both medical help and a return-to-work process that’s compassionate and fit for purpose. The NHS is haemorrhaging talent.
Lisa says she suffers from debilitating long Covid symptoms, including chronic fatigue in her legs and arms, brain fog, memory loss and Raynaud's phenomenon.

She said as a result she was forced into early retirement.
