Empathizing with the Mother Figures of Peter Pan
Is an adventure an adventure if there’s no one waiting at home at home to hear about it? I’ve pondered this off and on ever since rereading Peter Pan. As a child, I loved Peter, the Lost Boys, and …

18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want – yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people:

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

New Yorkers: tomorrow is the last day to register to vote in this year's mayoral primary — don’t count on others to get rid of the corrupt & compromised collaborator Eric Adams, who's mayor because 79% of eligible NYers failed to turn out last time.

This is the kind of stuff I’d like to see my members of Congress do.
Democrats should propose an amendment to this bill stating that no one convicted of a felony or who has been shown to be in violation of article 3 of the 14th Amendment can serve as president or as a member of Congress. They could call it the January 6th Amendment.

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
