Any chance we could all agree that Nigel Farage is a piece of shit and just move on without him?

Slightly offended that there’s no mention of bicycles.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Yep.
Raising the minimum wage is good, but not good enough.

Workers should’t have to constantly fall behind until politicians can be made to do their job.

It is time to do what Michigan, Maine, Ohio, Florida and 16 other states have already done and take the politicians out of it. #IndexTheMinimumWage

This is amazing
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

I have now experienced Borgore and also need a sign banning Borgore from my kitchen.
I appreciate both the specificity and broadness of this sign

We should have stopped building highways 20-30 years ago.
After 50 years, the final segment of Highway 610 is now open, connecting Maple Grove to I-94!

I worked to secure federal funding for this highway, which means shorter commutes, faster emergency routes, and more opportunity.

I’ve been printerless for years. My library’s printers come in handy for the handful of times a year that I need to print something.
I need to print something:

Print With Me kiosk: $5
Chicago Public Library: $0

Another win for public services

Hell, yeah.
Now: Thousands of people in Charlotte have gathered to let Border Patrol & ICE know they’re not welcome here. We will not bow down in the face of Trump’s terror tactics. When our communities are under attack we stand up and fight back!

It’s a sunny and windy day today in Eau Claire and as I didn’t feel like dealing with the wind on my bike, I swapped my normal Saturday morning bike ride for a long walk and managed to snap this picture of some goldenrod along the way.

I’m a CIS, straight, male. An every-day American with a blue collar job, who lives in the midwest. I want non-binary people to be treated fairly and well.

Also, it’s amazing how the elites are taking themselves out of the race as to who’s going to be on top when the current thing crumbles.

This!
Growing up in a time when “selling out” was the most shameful thing you could do and then being forced to live through the 2020s feels like being kicked in the head by a horse every day

Your members voted for this. I’m honestly confused here. What’s the point in supporting and voting for Democrats when they vote for shit like this?

Yay, congratulations.
We Did It, Cheney! After a long rollercoaster week, tonight’s results confirmed it - we won! 🎉

I am beyond grateful for everyone who supported this campaign whether through your time, encouragement, public displays, influence, or donations. It truly took a village to make this victory possible.

Works the same way with immigrants. The economy is not a zero sum game and pushing people out of it lowers economic activity and growth.
