Is that the same Anthony Horowitz who wrote the Alex Rider books that were adapted more than once? Does he think that the 2020 series is a sequel to the 2006 movie? Did Alex have two uncles with the same name that both died? Does he not think that's weird?

Dark and gritty has a place in a world jumpstarted by the brutal murder of a young kid's parents. I just don't want to the character to be limited to that angle.

Maybe Wizard Magazine's biggest sin was blaming a show from 1966 for being faithful to Batman books from 1966 - and not from 1986. The embarrassment they constantly showed for everything that wasn't Lee Meriwether in that Catwoman outfit has poisoned a whole generation of Batman fans.
