Rather quiet Killarney NP CES 7 yesterday with just 25 birds from 13 species. Although adult female and a very dark juv G-s Woodpecker and a juv Reed Bunting can’t be sniffed at. Also did the two Barn Owl nest sites with broods of 4 and 3 chicks @npwsireland.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social

Another advantage Trump has is what I call The Crazy Policy Cycle.
1. He vows to do something insane.
2. Experts howl, because it would be very bad.
3. He tries it but is thwarted by reality or incompetence.
4. He gives up or does some badly watered-down version.
5. His fans yell, "See!!?"
