This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

as Phillips O'Brien also points out, this plan has been in negotiation for a long time, probably since Trump took office.

Note: you will NEVER find a human-planted tree that looks anything like this. Only natural processes, evolved over 100s of millions of years, produce such variety.

Just another one of many reasons why natural regeneration, not planting, should be the default means of bringing back our lost forests.

Eh, the barriers are necessary, Ms Reeves, because your country lowers standards, refuses legal oversight, refuses to contribute to the community, and refuses the conditions that are attached to the genuine free trade found within the European four freedoms.

Another advantage Trump has is what I call The Crazy Policy Cycle.

1. He vows to do something insane.

2. Experts howl, because it would be very bad.

3. He tries it but is thwarted by reality or incompetence.

4. He gives up or does some badly watered-down version.

5. His fans yell, "See!!?"
These couple of paragraphs stood out for me - can't ignore the frenzy but there are better and worse ways to engage with a Trumpian permachaos.
