When I was a kid I learned that some rehabbers raised Chimney Swift babies by having them cling onto a vest (they usually cling to the inside of chimneys, the bats of birds). I wanted to be that person so bad

These swifts are safely warming up after their home was wrecked, and I love that so much.
We rescued several Palm Swifts trapped after Hurricane Melissa. 🌪️

I wish I also had video of the other side, showing the ducklings dropping down into the water. That’s quite a long fall for these little ones! I assume they slid or tumbled down that angled wall.
