Whatever impostor syndrome you may have once had, dispose of it fucking immediately. If these people run the country, you deserve that promotion, you can run for city council, you can start that business. If this is the baseline, shit, you can do surgery drunk in an alley and you will do less harm.

Das 80-jährige Jubiläum des Siegs über Nazideutschland ist ein passender Moment, daran zu erinnern, dass das Asylrecht im Grundgesetz und in der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Menschenrechte auch eine Lehre daraus ist, dass zu wenige Staaten bereit waren, verfolgte Jüdinnen und Juden aufzunehmen.

In den USA werden Bücher verbannt, Richter verhaftet, Menschen ohne Prozess verschleppt & in Lager gesteckt, von denen Trump sagt, sie "vergiften das Blut des Landes". Sie machen sogar buchstäblich den Hitlergruß. Und Trump ist das Vorbild für die AfD. Kein Wunder, dass sie gegen das Erinnern ist.
