Another miss by Butker makes him well below average for placekickers this year. He oughta stay at home, perhaps in his kitchen, and let a real man do his job.

I am often asked what laws I would recommend blue states adopt. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach, there are seven changes every state could adopt right now, for virtually no cost or administrative burden. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/seve...

MAMDANI: And I just think that there are barriers, barricades, to helping Americans that we can break down
TRUMP: Uh huh
MAMDANI: And breaking down barriers? Reminds me of a certain Broadway show *smiling widely* where they worked together to break a barricade?

Notice a difference in how Democracy Docket framed Trump's threats vs how legacy media did? This is no accident. They are more interested in normalizing Trump to please their corporate overlords. Democracy Docket is only interested in providing you the truth. Support its work. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0

Wow, it’s crazy that the President of the United States would make a comment that could even be construed to suggest that he condones political violence. You know, since left wing violence is on the rise already. That’s what people said, right? That’s what those morons and liars said, RIGHT???

I’d put the odds that we eventually find out one or more of the Senate Dems who caved did so because they accepted literal bribes at about 80%. Maybe 90%. Feels like a near certainty.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Soft secession. Blue states building parallel systems, withholding cooperation, and creating facts on the ground that render federal authority meaningless within their borders.

“Without state cooperation, much of the federal government’s agenda becomes unenforceable.”
It’s Time for Americans to Start Talking About “Soft Secession”
Blue states are finally learning what red states have known all along: you don’t need federal permission to govern.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Joey Aguilar with a couple ugly picks tonight, which contributed to a six point deficit, but the Tennessee Vols are still winning by two scores tonight. And it will be because of Joey, not in spite of him.

From now on, when anyone asks how we’re going to pay for it, the answer should be we’ll take it out of the teargas budget.

Let’s hope the punishment for wrongdoings perpetrated *by* ICE is also notable for its reach and efficiency.
The remarkably swift passage of an Everett teen into the Trump administration’s deportation system underscores the reach and efficiency of the infrastructure that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has managed to build even in deep-blue Massachusetts. trib.al/Q3zUiKU
‘This is different.’ What the case of the arrested 13-year-old in Everett tells us about ICE. - The Boston Globe
While officials say ICE has moved with similar speed in arresting adults, this case stands out for the very young age of the subject.

I’m pleased to hear that Krasznahoraki won the Nobel Prize in literature. Satantango is dope. As I said in my review on Goodreads: “Communism, the Devil, a conman, a palpable sense of dread, an inexplicable revelation about the narrator… what more could a boy want?”

Love this from Pritzker! And what a “gotcha” from that loser, Tomi Lahren. As if “even illegal aliens are my people and I am going to protect them, too” isn’t something only an absolute hero would say.
