Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

As our health institutions are razed and corporate America is empowered to raise every cost, a KN95 mask remains one of the cheapest things you can do to remain healthy (and protect your community).

Do not let anyone tell you that you cannot wear a mask.

Esp in healthcare facilities.
A friend in New York
tells me the governor
is going after masks
in the name of protecting
against “masked harassment,”
but it is worth remembering
in moments like this
that one of the best ways
to protect yourself
against being harassed by viruses
is to keep wearing a mask.

Sen. Cory Booker breaks the record for the longest Senate floor speech, passing former Sen. Strom Thurmond's 24 hr, 18 min filibuster of the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

As Sen. Booker neared the record, he invoked the late Rep. John Lewis and called on the Senate to get into "good trouble."

It tells you a lot about the state of reporting these days if journalists are reporting that the DDoS attack that brought down Twitter came from Ukraine, regurgitating Musk's lies, without even bothering to check with any of the DDoS mitigation firms first.

Spoiler alert: It didn't!
