Day 336: We broke the weasel streak(TM) with this exceptionally pointy guy!

Or weasel-shaped. I swear to god." in reference to so many weasel and weasel-shaped animals ending up on this list recently. Just weasels all the way down. Panel 3 shows my drawing of what I think a 'Thorny Devil' looks like without ever having seen or heard of one. It looks like a standard frontbut has rounded, triangular shaped growths coming from its joints and the sides of its head. The captions around it say "Frog. Is it a frog? Some kind of frog? please. Please, a frog, just this once." Panel 4 starts with a boxed caption saying "And here's how it actually looks: Oh man. Look at this wonderful guy. It's a lizard! And he's hard to draw! Perfect. No notes." In the panel is a drawing of an actual 'thorny devil,' which has the face and body shape of a chameleon but is COVERED in sharp points all over its body, a lot like the thorns you'd find on a rose stem. Beneath the comic is my signature (Kat Baumann) and today's date (12-3-2025)

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now
