I can’t believe we’re at a point in the world where standing up against genocide has become a bad thing/comes with so many repercussions.

I get not wanting to “speak up” against what you’re not an expert at, but at the very least acknowledging we’re witnessing genocide is the bare minimum come on

Pillows - Gator Days
Panel 1 Ember cannot get to sleep. She steps out of her room to seek help from her mom. Ember's room has a sign that says "EMBER'S LAIR". This sign was requested by Ember, as she wishes for her room to spark fear in the hearts of her enemies. Ember: MOMMY! I CAN'T GET COZY! I NEED A PILLOW! Panel 2 Fern brings a pillow into Ember's room but questions if she really needs it. Fern: Sweetheart, don't you think you have enough pillows? Panel 3 Ember is in bed and surrounded by pillows of various shapes and sizes. There are also some toys spread around. There's probably snacks hidden somewhere in there too. There aren't any weapons but it wouldn't surprise me if there were some. Ember is prepared for anything. Panel 4 Ember has carefully thought about the question of there being too many pillows and has her well thought out answer. Ember: No.

The Oatmeal Incident (Part 2) - Gator Days
Panel 1 Polly, Eva, and Gwen are called to the principal's office because they were caught throwing a bowl of oatmeal off the school roof. The video of the incident got 79 views on social media. Principal Rostrum: Girls, I'm very disappointed. I can't believe you threw a bowl of oatmeal off the roof. Panel 2 Polly and Gwen feel guilty about taking part in such a juvenile stunt. Eva's still thinking about the oatmeal. Principal Rostrum: Someone could have been hurt. And it's a waste of food. Panel 3 Principal Rostrum is shown, she has been splattered with bits of oatmeal. Principal Rostrum feels that she has effectively made her point and will deliver one last line to solidify her opinion on the matter. Principal Rostrum: I hope you're proud of yourselves. Panel 4 Eva suddenly snaps to attention when she hears the word proud. Eva: I AM! The splat was HUGE!

Polly: Taking pictures of oatmeal. Eva: Gwen, rotate the bowl ten degrees clockwise. Panel 3 Polly takes the picture and the oatmeal is looking great. While they can't be seen, everyone is shaking each other's hands and feeling accomplished about this moment. Polly: That looks good. Eva: Now everyone will think I eat healthy.
