I still can’t believe we got a new De La Soul album out of the blue but I’m so happy we did because it’s incredible and might be their best work since Stakes Is High. A beautiful tribute to Dave whose presence is still felt all over but also just a classic De La concept album about loss and life.

Ok now in retrospect it’s extremely funny that they got Gorillaz in Fornite just before they were about to drop a single with Sparks and a 7-minute song that’s largely in Spanish and backed by an Indian brass band. Still no one tricking kids into listening to good pop music like Damon and Jamie.
