I just think it's easy to get lost in the metaphysics of it all when you can just watch what they do and listen to what they say. A trans woman forced into a men's prison by this UK ruling will not be treated like a man and that is precisely the point.

I think its easy to mistake UK transphobes as being opposed to "men" in women's spaces but what they really oppose is trans women and trans femininity specifically, and the biggest tell is they speak to and about trans women in a way they never would a man
