Had the honour of taking part in the most extraordinary, ancient acts & celebrations, re-affirming commoners rights this week. Hungerford is (likely) the last place Hocktide is still observed in England. It means we kept & keep our commons, & a certain independence. Buckle up, it’s a wild ride… 1/14

Thames barges were a theme to which Edward Seago returned repeatedly, painting them at low tide or with sails billowing during a race. This is most likely Pin Mill on the River Orwell, just six miles downstream from Ipswich in Suffolk.

Following our instagram hack by what my friend and IT expert @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social described as 'utter bastards', we're back with a new account. Give us a follow there please, help us rebuild an audience of readers.
On Monday our instagram account was hacked and then deleted. We received a ransom note to recover it; obviously we couldn't and wouldn't pay, and therefore lost thousands of followers. Meta support was useless. But we're BACK with a new account: @littletollerbooks. Can you follow us there and share?
