One of the contributors to the book we're publishing in May about Global Football Clubs that are still essential parts of their communities lives in Caracas, 2km from an airfield that was bombed yesterday.

He's been in touch and is OK but obviously concerned about what happens next.

‘Why does everything have to be so complicated?’

And I tell her that when I lived in Sheffield, I had a microwave that had a ‘Chaos’ button on it.

‘What happened when you pressed that?’

‘Norman Wisdom came round & cooked your tea.’

2026.

Well, we're in our 20th year of publishing.

Without the army of librarians and booksellers shining a light on our writers and what we're trying to do, we simply wouldn't have got this far.

Thank you.

Kevin, Hetha, Lin, Leonora, Darya.

Have just finished Leonard and Hungry Paul on the Beeb and I’m very sad, because it was such a lovely, lovely series. I know it’s the wrong way round but I’ll be reading the book ASAP, just ordered from @ofmooseandmen.bsky.social 📚🙏
