This is an entirely valid concern. I have been eyeing all of my repositories and thinking about where the servers are physically located and where the organizations operating them are. I'm looking into some contingencies.
As a testament to the dire situation in the U.S., our university (Uni. Iceland) just sent an email on the risk of data (used or gathered by European institutions) stored in the United States being deleted, altered, or access to it restricted. #academia #waronscience #disinformation

How have you been coping in your day today. Going to work surrounded by people who voted for this nightmare and are blissfully existing. You can’t say anything, you have to hold in the dread and anxiety and continue doing your job like the country isn’t suffering. How are you doing it?
