We’ve lived 15 years under Citizens United, watching billionaires and corporations shape democracy with their wallets. Reform once seemed impossible. But now, a group in Montana is asking a radical question: What if states simply stopped granting corporations the power to spend in politics?

With the announcement of Trump's new phone, perhaps people should think about boycotting T-Mobile, the company that is enabling the grift.

Chuck, they are already destroying vital government. Acquiescing to the CR just gives them more cover, as they continue to destroy it. Learn something from Mitch. Resist don’t capitulate.
A shutdown would give Donald Trump and Elon Musk carte blanche to destroy vital government services at a significantly faster rate than they can right now.

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.

@schumer.senate.gov Just going to add to the chorus, and confirm it is reprehensible that you plan to vote for cloture. You have no spine.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT THE FUCK, CHUCK?

Every single Ways & Means Republican voted today to block transparency and protect DOGE's access to your sensitive information. Why are they so afraid to defend the rule of law and stand up to President Trump and Elon Musk?
