The reason Trump has slapped tariffs on the entire world is not to protect American workers.

What Trump cares about is being able to get concessions out of other countries and corporations that seek exemptions.

It's all about his ability to hand out punishments and rewards.

Hours after Donald Trump did a free commercial for Tesla on the White House lawn, Elon Musk reportedly announced plans to donate $100 million to a MAGA super PAC.

Someone in the crowd started an anti-trans rant at the Markey town hall and was immediately swarmed by a bunch of older lib women who shouted her down and chased her out, like a bunch of crows chasing away a predator.

Copyright question for #litagents, if I have a niche history blog and want to write a book on the same topic, are there any copyright issues? Can I re-use what I've already written? #writingcommunity #nonfiction

HEY EVERYONE REMEMBER WHEN TRUMP WAS IMPEACHED FOR DENYING AID TO UKRAINE BECAUSE HE WANTED ZELENSKY TO LIE AND SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT BIDEN AND ZELENKSY WOULDN’T DO IT?

Maybe literally one fucking American newspapers could mention this in their, “think pieces,” about what happened yesterday.

ANYWAY, did you know there's an extension you can put on Chrome that will connect with your local library system and when you go look at a book, say on AMZ, it will tell you if that book exists in the library system and if it's available?

It's literally called Library Extension.

Come for the mythic cosmology, original bestiary, and women in (mytho-scientific renaissance) STEM...

Stay for the push and pull of ideas about pragmatism and purpose, about work and will and worth, and about making mistakes and finding your way in the aftermath.

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.
