Words cannot describe how meaningful it was to have my family convene in DC to watch me graduate last weekend. I wouldn’t have made it to the finish line without my family, mentors, and friends. USU is a wonderfully unique university that I am lucky to have attended.

My 1st PCOS project is published! Led by Dr. Long, we reviewed RCTs testing lifestyle modifications for AYA with PCOS. Interventions generally improved PCOS symptoms, but the complete lack of studies testing comprehensive, evidence-based lifestyle programs is concerning.

Effect of Lifestyle Modifications on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Predominantly Young Adults: A Systematic Review
To improve counseling and outcomes for the adolescent population (ages 10-24-years-old), with polycystic ovary syndrome we conducted a systematic review of randomized controlled trials with the primary objective to generate evidence-based recommendations for which lifestyle interventions with or without medications lead to the best outcomes.
