Sara Lopez is a 2-year old who is paralyzed due to a rare complication from the flu.

Her mother then did something very brave. She said she had not to gotten Sara vaccinated against flu, and is imploring parents not to skip the shot.

RFK Jr. removed the flu vaccine for recommendation for kids.

Several scientists have received letters from the NIH director disinviting them from their positions on advisory councils that make final decisions on grant funding, I'm told.

In July, I reported that NIH staff were told to select members aligned with Trump administration priorities.

Based on guidance from WashU and others my understanding now is that journals cannot force us to pay open access fees to comply with this policy. You can just submit the paper after acceptance to PMC.

Four years after Medicaid was expanded in Missouri: what do we know?

1. Enrollment has met expectations
2. Uninsured dropped significantly
3. Financially not a burden to state budget
4. Reduced out of pocket costs to recipients
5. Improved financing for hospitals
