I’ve been saying this for months. Deportation is a legal process that includes due process. This is not that. This is human trafficking. Language matters.

It's #FederalFuckeryFriday and this week's focus is due process! The regime decided this week to plant signs outside the White House as if to celebrate sending people to another country or prolonged detainment without due process. We believe in due process and this weeks's theme is #DefendDueProcess

Your reminder that although the attention on Kilmar Abrego Garcia is important, all of the men sent to the CECOT concentration camp in El Salvador were sent there for life sentences without due process.

All of them need to be brought back and afforded their rights to due process.

ALL OF THEM.

Allllllllll of that. All of it. All completely correct.
As others have noted, if you’re not seeing this “pro-natalism” creepiness through the lens of the white nationalist Fourteen Words, you’re missing the point.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

Fascism is here. Due process is dead. The Supreme Court is a hollow husk.

Constituents to Chuck Grassley: "Are you bringing back that guy from El Salvador?"

Senior Citizen: “If I get an order to pay a ticket to pay $1200 and I just say ‘no’, does that stand up? Because he just got an order from the Supreme Court and he just said ‘screw it’”

I'm concerned by reports of our immigrant neighbors receiving emails from the Trump Admin demanding they leave the U.S.

Many are getting these messages by mistake, including U.S. citizens.

Remember you have the right to speak to a lawyer if you have questions about your status.
“It is time for you to leave the United States,” the mass email from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security advises, including this warning: “Do not attempt to remain in the United States — the federal government will find you.”
NY immigrants are seeing a grim email in their inboxes: ‘It is time for you to leave’
The mass mailing, delivered to hundreds of thousands of people, is courtesy of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Even if you (wrongly) believe that some immigrants lack due process rights, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *you* are an undocumented immigrant; removing you to El Salvador; citing an “administrative error”; and refusing to do anything to bring you back?

The answer is due process.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been sitting in a Salvadoran prison for over a month because the Trump Admin made a mistake.

Now, the Admin is defying SCOTUS & refusing to bring him back.

If we allow Trump to violate Kilmar's rights, none of our rights are safe.

Kilmar is all of us.
BREAKING

The President of El Salvador says he will not be releasing Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

“How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States?”

The Supreme Court recently ordered the Trump administration to facilitate his return.

(Abrego-Garcia was never convicted of terrorism)
