Paying for a similar item and expedited same day shipping, so hopefully we can still make the bank appointment.
Made an appointment to take mom to the bank to take out her RMD as apparently even though I have a power of attorney document, she still has to do this in person. Arranged to take a half day on the date of the appointment. Mom says she's expecting a package on that day, so "Honey, I just can't go"

I spent over $100 in carfare to take her to the lawyer, and it was all for nothing. NOTHING
Even though I have a power of attorney document, the bank still requires my 86-year old mother to go in person to take her annual rmd what was even the point 😭😭😭
